It was a cold January morning in 2005 when I first saw the image of five children painted with their parents’ blood, one girl screaming, the young boy terrified into silence. They seemed to tremble under the lights of the masked American troops that had just riddled their parents with bullets when their car had not stopped at the American checkpoint.

It is easy to argue that Canadian politicians are engaged in debaucherous politics. It is easy to show how our political parties have corrupted both their duty to the public and their supposed loyalty to the wealth of the commons.

All We Are Saying is Give Peace a Chance
Security, stability, freedom, democracy, and equality; it is for these reasons we are currently fighting insurgents in Afghanistan. That is the rationale we are being given for fighting this dirty war. Unfortunately, these goals are not compatible with war and they cannot, and will not, result from using C-7 assault rifles. This war is supposed to be a solution, but it solves nothing.
Our Oil Disease
Our disease is global warming and rampant pollution, but you all already know that. Drive down the hill in Hamilton on a warm day and you can see if for yourself. Try and sit outside on a smog day – feel how hard it is to breathe. The cause of our disease is our reliance on a crude resource; cheap, dirty, oil.
A Glimpse Around Town
Pathetic lives that waste this gift,
A selfish culture where each individual is the tyrant
Hastening our decline into winter.
If we look at the face of god we would see nothing godly,
Because we are god; we create this world in our image.
